Electronic Government Procurement (e- GP) of Bangladesh is quite different to that of conventional electronic procurement systems. Conventional system requires a lower level of security, confidentiality and competitions where as these are crucial factors in e-GP system of Bangladesh. In this paper, we have presented a highly secured, confidential and reliable architecture for the deployment of e-GP in Bangladesh. Analytical evaluation of the architecture is given and showed that the architecture can be used for successful implementation of e-GP system in Bangladesh. We used relational and object-relational structure for the storage of e-GP data in server(s) in encrypted form enforcing the real time constraints of Government procurement policy. Initial experimental evaluation shows the effectiveness of the architecture.
