The aim of the internship was to develop an instant communication server with protected message or data by using Linux operating system. This system communicated by two or more computers are interconnection and able to exchange data or information sharing and one to another that time need to special pc’s is called server. The first part of the internship report gives an overview of Linux Operating System and server details. Second part discusses about the basic commands, the vi editor, network configuration and Centos Package Manage and MikroTik Configuration. There is various type of work in the network that is why also different types of server have. For Example- FTP Server, SAMBA Server. Each of them works differently and without them it is impossible to maintain a network. If network is connected to the Internet and we want to secure your information they must setup server using Linux Operating System. lastly I configuration to Mikrotik Router with a ISP line using WAN network and other configuration to LAN ports. In this parts testing details are given. As the entire work was done practically, a lot was learned regarding set up and testing of the individual ISP services.
